My old car had a metallic silver and looked so good when it was clean. Silver is a double slided blade: on some cars it looks very under stated and good, some it falls flat.

Toyotas are good cars. Boring cars, but perfectly capable of doing all the car things for much longer than most cars are.

My mom (a person firmly in Lexus’s target market) just remarked yesterday that their new grilles are “hideous” and "look like hourglasses that say 'your time is almost up'." I don't know if there's some metaphor there, but she's sticking with the Audi for now.

I’d say go check out the Lincoln...but there’s not in any way a comparable hatch back style Lincoln.
